NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition gives Switch players the full game and its arena DLC. An extra cosmetic pack is free, but you download it separately. The long DLC codes below identify those two packs; they are not additional games you need to buy.

Released on October 6, 2022, this is the Switch version of Automata, not a sequel or a new story after Game of the YoRHa Edition.

Is this the edition you need?

  • Buying for Switch: this is the complete base-game purchase with the arena expansion included. It supports handheld, tabletop and TV play.
  • Already own this Switch edition: keep your copy. Download the free cosmetics if you want them; the arena DLC does not need a second purchase.
  • Buying for Switch 2: Nintendo lists the Switch game as supported. That is compatibility, not a separate upgraded edition.
  • Playing on PlayStation or Steam: compare Game of the YoRHa Edition instead; platform licenses and bonus packs are not interchangeable.

What The End of YoRHa Edition includes

The two long DLC names are the source of most confusion. One is already part of your purchase; the other is an optional free download. Neither is a sequel.

The Switch edition’s included content and separate download
Content Included with the edition? What that means
NieR:Automata base game Yes The main game, not a DLC-only purchase
Arena DLC — 3C3C1D119440927 Yes Arena challenges and their rewards
Free cosmetic pack — 6C2P4A118680823 Separate free download Additional costumes, accessories and Pod skins

Square Enix’s Switch launch announcement explicitly includes the arena DLC with both physical and digital copies. The second long code identifies the separate free cosmetic pack.

To identify a missing outfit, first check which of the two packs supplies it. The table in the download section separates download requirements from arena rewards.

What is 3C3C1D119440927?

3C3C1D119440927 is the arena DLC originally released for Automata. It adds three colosseum challenge areas, with costume rewards inspired by NieR Replicant. Those rewards are:

  • 2B: Revealing Outfit
  • 9S: Young Man’s Outfit
  • A2: Destroyer Outfit

These three costumes are challenge rewards, not the six outfits from the separate Switch cosmetic pack. Square Enix’s description of the arena DLC identifies these three outfits and their challenge-based unlocks. That page describes the same content pack; it is not the place to purchase a Switch license.

Progress through the main story to reach the arena content; some story sections restrict access. A locked arena does not by itself mean the included DLC is missing.

What is in the free 6C2P4A118680823 pack?

This is the Switch edition’s extra cosmetic download. The full list contains 12 items, grouped below so the similar names do not blur together.

The 12 items in the free Switch cosmetic pack
Type Items Applies to
Costumes 2P’s Body Replica; YoRHa Uniform 1 2B
Costumes 9P’s Body Replica; YoRHa Uniform 2 9S
Costumes P2’s Body Replica; YoRHa Uniform Prototype A2
Accessories White Fox Mask; Black Fox Mask; Under the Moon Bauble; Remnant Flower Bauble Character accessories
Pod skin Mama Pod 042
Pod skin Carrier Pod 153

The Mama and Carrier skins are based on characters from NieR Re[in]carnation.

The pack requires The End of YoRHa Edition. Downloading the free listing without owning the base game does not give you Automata. Find the DLC from the game’s matching Nintendo eShop listing, confirm the title and region, and complete the free download rather than looking for an additional paid season pass.

Physical or digital: what do you need to download?

Physical and digital copies both include the arena DLC. Use Nintendo eShop for the separate free cosmetics, and finish updates and downloads before playing offline. For an imported copy, use a compatible regional DLC listing.

Storage: Nintendo’s game listing gives a file size of 10.9 GB, checked September 22, 2026. Use that as the listed game size, not a promise of the final space needed after updates or extra downloads.

Does it work on Nintendo Switch 2?

As of September 21, 2026, Nintendo’s Australia/New Zealand listing marks this Switch game as supported on Nintendo Switch 2. Its compatibility note, updated November 25, 2025, says previously identified issues were fixed.

This confirms compatibility for the original Switch game, not a native Switch 2 edition or a promised performance upgrade. Keep the game and console updated.

The End of YoRHa versus Game of the YoRHa

End of YoRHa is the Switch edition; Game of the YoRHa is the PS4/Steam edition. They package the same main game with different platform extras.

Edition names by platform
Edition Platform family Main distinction here
The End of YoRHa Edition Nintendo Switch Included arena DLC plus the separate free Switch cosmetic pack
Game of the YoRHa Edition PS4 and Steam Base game, arena DLC and platform-specific bonuses

Choose by hardware first, bonuses second. On PlayStation or Steam, use the Game of the YoRHa contents comparison. On Switch, this is the relevant edition. You are choosing a version of the same main game, not deciding which story chapter to play first.
