Persona 5 Tactica DLC: What Each Pack Includes
Compare Persona 5 Tactica DLC packs, choose Repaint Your Heart for the extra story, and check Digital Deluxe overlap, bonuses and installed add-ons.
Persona 5 Tactica has three main paid add-ons: Repaint Your Heart, the Weapon Pack, and the Picaro Summoning Pack with Raoul. All three are included in the All In One DLC Pack. Digital Deluxe includes those same add-ons plus the base game; All In One does not include the game.
For more story, buy Repaint Your Heart for your copy of Tactica. You do not need the Weapon or Picaro packs for that episode. The original Orpheus Picaro and Izanagi Picaro preorder bonus is separate from all three main packs.
Persona 5 Tactica DLC packs at a glance
The table separates playable story content from equipment and summons. The bundle columns follow the published Steam and PlayStation contents; the bonus is listed on its own so it is not mistaken for another included pack.
| Product | What it adds | In All In One? | In Digital Deluxe? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Persona 5 Tactica base game | The game required to use the DLC | No — DLC only | Yes |
| Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack | Additional episode and challenge content | Yes | Yes |
| Weapon Pack | Picaro-themed weapon skins | Yes | Yes |
| Picaro Summoning Pack & Raoul | Additional summonable Personas | Yes | Yes |
| Orpheus Picaro & Izanagi Picaro | Separate preorder/launch bonus | Not in the three-pack contents | Do not assume it is included |
All three add-ons require Persona 5 Tactica, not Persona 5 or Royal.

Digital Deluxe or All In One: which purchase matches what you own?
Choose by what is missing from your library. Steam’s listing separates the game edition from the add-on bundle; PlayStation Digital Deluxe includes the game and all three packs.
- You have Standard and want all three add-ons: compare the All In One DLC Pack with the add-ons you already own. You do not need another copy of the base game.
- You have Standard and only want the additional episode: Repaint Your Heart is sold separately. The Weapon and Picaro packs are not required purchases for that episode.
- You have Digital Deluxe: check your library and installed add-ons before buying anything else. Its contents already include the three main packs.
- You do not have Tactica: Digital Deluxe combines the game and those packs. Standard contains the base game, leaving you free to add only the extras you want.
Compare the cost of your missing add-ons with the bundle price. Discounts may make a bundle cheaper, but they do not change what it includes.
What does Repaint Your Heart add?
Repaint Your Heart is Tactica’s additional episode, featuring Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa. Its premise involves a mysterious painting of Arsène and a masked artist named Guernica.
Paint changes which squares are safe. Damaging an enemy spreads your team’s color around it, leaving opponents on those squares vulnerable even behind cover. Enemy-colored ground can stop your units attacking and leave them exposed. Watch the floor as well as the walls: a position that was safe a turn ago may no longer protect you. ATLUS’s DLC feature preview explains these rules.
How to start Repaint Your Heart
- Install Repaint Your Heart for your copy of Tactica, then restart the game.
- At the main menu, choose Downloadable Content.
- Use the episode’s separate menu to start or continue Repaint Your Heart.
This menu route is documented in Prima Games’ access walkthrough. Owning only weapons or Personas does not unlock the episode. If the option is unavailable, use the installation checks below.
What requires finishing both stories?
The episode and its completion rewards are separate. ATLUS’s official DLC page says to clear both Tactica’s main story and Repaint Your Heart to unlock the extra Challenge Stages and Akechi/Kasumi as battle units in subsequent main-game playthroughs. Their inclusion does not rewrite the main story or add new Talk scenes.
For a first playthrough, finish Tactica’s main campaign before the episode so you can learn its usual battle rules before adding paint. If you are also new to the Phantom Thieves, playing Royal first gives Akechi and Kasumi their character context. These are spoiler-conscious recommendations, not technical installation requirements.
Repaint Your Heart and Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack name the same add-on.

What is in the Weapon and Picaro packs?
The Weapon Pack
The Weapon Pack contains ten weapons, described in the store as weapon skins. The listing names eight of them:
- Picaro Sand Hawk
- Picaro Levinson M31
- Picaro Slingbow
- Picaro Machine Gun
- Picaro Assault Rifle
- Picaro Revolver
- Picaro G Launcher
- Picaro Machine Pistol
Two additional weapons complete the pack; the listing does not give their names.
The weapons become available as you progress through the main story. If you own and installed the pack but cannot see every weapon yet, progress is a separate condition; buying the pack again will not bypass it.
The Picaro Summoning Pack and Raoul
This pack adds the following Personas to the Compendium:
- Thanatos Picaro
- Orpheus Picaro (female)
- Athena Picaro
- Messiah Picaro
- M. Izanagi Picaro
- Kaguya Picaro
- Izanagi-no-Okami Picaro
- Ariadne Picaro
- Asterius Picaro
- Tsukiyomi Picaro
- Raoul
The official pack description says their first summon from the Compendium has no in-game cost, and access depends on game progression. “Free first summon” refers to the in-game transaction after you own the add-on; it does not mean the DLC itself is free.
Pay attention to the full names. Orpheus Picaro (female) in this pack is not the separate Orpheus Picaro bonus listed below. Likewise, M. Izanagi Picaro and Izanagi-no-Okami Picaro should not be shortened to “Izanagi Picaro” when checking what you own.
Orpheus Picaro and Izanagi Picaro are a separate bonus
ATLUS advertised Orpheus Picaro and Izanagi Picaro as preorder bonuses for digital purchases and a launch bonus for the physical Launch Edition. That historical offer explains why older comparison images show them beside both Standard and Deluxe.
Check the current offer for both exact bonus names; the historical launch promotion does not establish their inclusion today.
For a used Launch Edition, confirm any required bonus code is unused and valid in your region. Buying All In One again will not supply these two preorder Personas.
Before buying or installing Tactica DLC
- Confirm the game title. The add-on must be for Persona 5 Tactica, not Royal, Strikers, or a different Persona game.
- Check the platform and product requirements. Use the listing associated with the copy of Tactica you play; do not assume a purchase transfers between unrelated storefronts.
- Check existing ownership. Look at the individual add-ons in your library, not only the name of the base-game tile.
- Check installation and progression. Owning an add-on, installing it, and reaching the point where its items become available are different things.
Already bought the DLC but cannot find it?
Check installation before purchasing another copy. For console copies, SEGA’s DLC support instructions give these routes:
- PS5: highlight Tactica, press the controller’s Options button, then open Manage game content. Download any owned add-on that is not installed; relaunch the game afterward.
- Xbox: highlight Tactica in your games library and press Menu. Open Manage game and add-ons, select the game, then choose its installation-management option. Select the missing add-ons and save your changes.
These steps check the installed files, not the in-game unlock conditions. Weapon and Persona access still depends on story progression. If you use a physical copy, also check that its region matches the account used for the add-on.
Looking for a different game’s extras? Use the Royal DLC guide or Reload Expansion Pass guide instead; those purchases do not unlock Tactica content.
