Keep the main story separate from the recaps
If this is your first watch, the useful question is not how many Haikyuu titles exist. It is which entries move the story forward. The guide above puts the seasons and The Dumpster Battle in sequence, then identifies where the OVAs fit.
Compilation movies are a separate choice. They revisit material from the TV series, so watching every listed title can mean seeing the same matches again. That can be welcome on a rewatch, but it is not the most direct route through the story.
